I won first place in Best Overall at
treepretty! The theme was Spike, and all the icons entered were amazing. It is great to compete with such talented icon makers.
On another, and much stranger note....anyone else feel violated by all those tricky Geico Insurance commercials? Come on, be honest...I know you are out there. They all start out like they aren't a commercial, or at least not one for insurance...and then Wham! out of the blue is the sudden plug for Geico Insurance. Now I'm suspicious of all commercials, cause I just know it is really a Geico pitch in disguise. This just proves that I soooo need a life.

Date: 2004-06-23 12:16 am (UTC)Though i can't say i feel violated, per se, by those commercials. I do however, adored those with the gecko, "Everyone was king fu fighting!" :)

Date: 2004-06-23 06:40 am (UTC)Oh, yeah...the ones with the Gecko are cute. It's the ones that pose like a soap opera scene, or a hair club for men commercial that keep blindsiding me! :P
