Before I say anything, let me make a couple of things clear...

I am not singling anyone out when I post this, it's not a personal attack on anyone.

I am not posting to open a debate. I do not debate. This is my point of view, period.

ETA 1: A person, who is now banned,  decided to ignore my clear disclaimer that this post was not open for debate...and posted a challenging comment arguing against my opinion. This person had the nerve to say "You can't post this sort of thing and not allow debate..." WTF? *blinks* Actually I can, and I did. Hello, um...my freaking journal...my rules. Damn. When I tried to enforce the "no debate" rule, this individual made their incredible faux pas much worse by becoming rude in further unwelcome comments. *delete, ban*  OK. Let me say this once again. This is my opinion, which I am completely entitled to. In case you missed it, this is also my LJ, so I make the rules. Period. Comments with a challenging theme/tone are considered attempts to debate, which I clearly stated I am not open to. DO NOT disrespect that and play devil's advocate, and/or attempt to enlighten me. It will not be well received. I am reasonably intelligent, well-read and haven't formed my opinion haphazardly. If you don't agree with my opinion, that is fine. You are most certainly entitled to your own. However, going into all the reasons your opinion is correct, and mine is wrong, and  "Trying to talk sense in to me", even politely, is extremely offensive, and will only make me angry. If you are the kind of person that cannot understand that, then please...do us both a favor and don't click the cut-tag.

I'm hardly on twitter, but today I was and I saw lots of trending topics regarding the shooting of Rep. Gabrielle Giffords. Such a horrible thing. My prayers go out to all the victims and their families. This kind of thing is so completely senseless.

So, of all the days to hang out on twitter & the internet. Yeesh. I can pick'em, can't I? Oh, yeah...I tweeted quite a bit when I got fired up about the whole blame-game thing. So I'll slap a cut-tag on my tweets when they post here. See, this is why I hardly EVER talk/tweet/dwell on politics...not exactly bringing the warm fuzzies to my world. Grrrr arrrrgh.

Puppies! Puppies are good! *starts posting pictures of the Baby Dogs on twitter*

Another election under the belt. I voted a split ticket, and some of my selected canidates won, and some of them lost. I'm completely ok with that, no tears or ranting to be found here. No obnoxious bile-tainted gloating either. Why? Because I was raised to show good sportsmanship.

Let me make clear, I'm in no way referring to those that are glad/disappointed with the outcome, and post about their feelings/thoughts in a conversational way.
