Domestic Goddess...

eyesthatslaycoming through. I'm up to my buns in laundry duties, and various other house cleaning stuff.
I went shopping yesterday, and broke down and bought 2 pair of Nikes. I was a sworn Adidas girl, but for the past year I haven't been able to find anything that wasn't butt ugly in that brand. Plus, the selections have been dwindling to next to nothing for some reason. The shoe depts are now full of New Balance in place of Adidas. *pauses to mourn* I love Adidas shoes. Now I have to transfer those deeply meaningful affections to Nike. I even bought Nike socks to facilitate the process.
I have plans on going to dinner then to see Passion of the Christ tonight with hubby and my In-laws. I'm looking forward to it, because I believe it will be a powerful experience to see such a realistic portrayal of Christ's suffering. I'm sure I will be awed by it, and I hope it will help me to further appreciate His sacrifice for me.
