Episode Night

angstchic and I bonded quite nicely with KFC last night for dinner. Then we had our heifer-time phone chat with amoonchilde, we were having so much fun in fact, that we were still talking 5 minutes into the episode before we realized it was on. Hee.

I had great fun menacing everyone in angstchic's household, including her dog. Which I fed cherry Twizzlers to, so I could watch her slurp them like spaghetti. They are also very good for flaying people with. :)


This was a great episode. It was so riveting that the hour just flew by before we knew it. Fred broke my heart, and I loved, loved, loved, how all the guys banded together to save her.

Everyone did such a great job this episode. I have to admit that I even liked Eve. She did so much better in her off balance/scared part than she ever has at the Lilah Jr. gig. Lorne bowing up, and smacking Eve, in defense of Fred, very cool!

Gunn's staggered reaction to his own had in Fred's illness was very well played. Plus, OMG! Knox = Evil! Then shortly afterwards, thanks to Gunn....Knox + Evil = Dead! Wow.

The Spike & Angel bickering brothers dynamic was amazing! It was hysterical! Then when it got down to business, they had each other's back. I. Love. It.

Wes & Fred were so amazingly sweet, and brought tears to my eyes. Joss is evil, probably because he tortures himself with spandex underwear. He's in pain, therefore as we will be. *sigh* Boxers, Joss, BOXERS! Look into them, Mm-kay?

I was gobsmacked at the tacky "new" shows they are promoting in the commercial breaks of this soon to be canceled, amazing show. They are canceling Angel in favor of a High School Reunion Reality Show???!!! Heaven save us from annoyingly bad TV!

I wish I had taped the episode. I'd really like to watch it again. I wasn't overly impressed while watching it, but Joss' style is so fast paced, that I may need to watch it again to really appreciate it.

I did enjoy all the Spike & Angel bits.

It was so wonderful, to see it hitting on all cylinders like that. More's the pity of the cancellation. The stride and flow of the show for me was "all of a sudden the credits were rolling?!!", it just was so intense.

I loved the episode, and I don't think we missed too much in the first few minutes. Hee! Lastnight was fun...I think we should call the WB and say,
