Well, I broke down and called my Doctor this morning, cause the over the counter meds just aren't cutting it. 5 days and still running fever. Bleh.
Felt so incredibly sorry for myself last night, I called angstchic, and my Mom for a good old fashioned whine/squall fest. Waaah. I was just so annoyed that once again, I'll miss all the Christmas fun.
At least I'm feeling less whiney today, and hopefully the prescription meds will do what it takes to knock this stuff out, before it turns into pneumonia.
So sorry that you have already advanced to that stage just_kumi. *pets you* I like your suggestion to be puny together. Since you are providing the electric blanket and hot chocolate, I'll bring the humidifier, and the Puff's plus. :)

Sorry, you're feeling so bad. Gawd. When will this Flu leave our little LJ community? Rest and drink plenty of fluids. Let your family spoil you rotten.

Here's some Ghiradelli Hot Chocolate mix, another electric blanket, and some more tissues. Hope you and Kumi feel better soon.

Aww poor thing.....you are just having a rough time with this mess. I hope you are feeling well enough to enjoy some of the festivities. Get plenty of rest and get well soon. I am nursing a sore throat myself. I hope it doesn't get worse.

Thanks girl, yeah...it pretty much sucks rocks to have to miss out on all the Christmas fun. The meds are working their magic though, and I feel tons better!
