I'm going to give the new "Nightstalker" a try. I hope it's good...

Sounds like me, except for the emotional deattachment part. I am emotional about everything! :P

Rikki-poo and I were just talking about that show. I hadn't even heard it was on. I know it's a remake and she is kinda liking it/seeing potential. I'd seen the original on tape, but don't know how faithful this version is. Might be pretty good.

I'd heard that it was basically the inspiration for X-files...so I'm thinking it will at least be interesting.

I think that Stuart Townsend is not hitting his stride with his character yet, but the plot was interesting. I like the mystery to solve sort of thing...

I've watched both episodes and it seems pretty good. The lead is a little stiff IMO but the plotlines were interesting so far.

I agree completely. The plot was interesting, but ST doesn't seem comfortable in his character yet. Hopefully, he'll get into the groove soon.

=P i watched the first episode, and slept through the second (well, after the first 10 minutes or so). it's not bad; it's very similair to the x-files, but it's missing SOMETHING. I think Stewart Townsend doesn't have the charisma to pull of his character or something... I think the girl plays her character well.

I missed the first ep, but this one was pretty interesting. I think you're right about Stewart...He's been good in other roles though, so I'm hoping that maybe he just hasn't hit his "stride" with this character yet. If he does, it should improve the watchability a bit. :)

I also liked him as Dorian Gray in League of Extraordinary Gentlemen. ;)

oooh, yes. i'd forgotten about that one! maybe his problem with night stalker is that his character is supposed to still be alive. we should see his character become a vampire. would put an interesting twist on the whole reporter thing.

LOL!

I've also seen him in Trapped, and he played a live guy there pretty well. :P

He seems to be trying to "americanize" his speech in Nightstalker. I think I like his natural accent better! He's Irish I think...(he spoke naturally in Trapped, maybe that is why he's having problems. :P)
