Turkey day was a success! My cooking went without a hitch, and the dinner was wonderful as usual. The leftovers have been great too, especially since they've gotten us out of cooking for a couple of days.

Yesterday, I managed to pack up all my Autumn decorations, and managed to put up all my Winter and Christmas. Plus, I've successfully stayed miles away from any stores. Those after-Thanksgiving sales scare me, man. I love shopping as much as the next person, but not enough to risk getting caught in a rabid-shopper stampede.

We're heading out tomorrow on our yearly trip with our visiting family, so pretty excited. We'll only be away for a few nights, but it is always nice to get away. :) I'm trying to pack, and it always turns into a fiasco. I'm a notorious over-packer. I want to take everything I need, plus anything else I might need or want. It's so hard for me to try to pare things down. My biggest problem is wanting to take all my clothes, because I like being able to have all the options I have at home. Insane troll logic. *sigh*
