I took one of my baby dogs to the vet today, for her yearly shots. The poor thing was so nervous she was a walking earthquake. She shivered violently the entire time we were there. I think it took years off her life. *pets the poor baby dog*

Work was incredibly boring today, so much so that as soon as I got home...I promptly fell asleep for two hours. Weird time for a nap, but hey...whatever! :P

I'm working on some BtVS icons, so hopefully in a few days I'll have enough to post.

Now, I think I want a snack....*wanders off*

I had a keeshond and they're just an oversized pom with black/grey/white fur.

That is not one of my babies, but isn't it adorable! Mine are more of a sable color, with black on their backs. :)

That one's fur is so poofy. Mine have longer, silkier hair, not quite as puffed out. My smaller one is 6lbs, and my larger one is 9lbs, so they are pretty small. :)

I'm glad you like it, sweetie! Don't worry, I'm not expecting you to actually use it, since it's not your dog, but I still thought you'd enjoy it. :) This pomeranian is some super duper dog show champion, Mr. FluffnStuff or somethin'. ( I actually made that up, his name was much more prissy.) I think that's why the fur sticks straight out - he's extra extra groomed. I used to know someone with a pom named Chester. Cutest damn dog and a great name for him.

I also used to babysit for a family when I was in high school that had a keeshond. Big, fluffy, excitable...not too bright, that dog. I'm sure she was an exception to a very sweet breed.

Both my dogs (hobbitbeagle and hobbitlabrador) hated the vets, shook like jelly and wanted to sit on my lap while we were there. Now a beagle sitting on your lap? Not so bad. A labrador? Let's just say the whole waiting area had a laugh...

She's all recovered and happy-fied now. :) Silly baby dog.

I'm telling you I must have a button on my butt, cause everytime I sit still for a minute, I fall asleep! :)

Heee. My idiot dog would swim across the parking lot to get to the vet office. Once inside he would be running around saying hi to everyone, jumping on the assistants, kissing the doctors.

It was embarrassing.

I think I might have to nap again when I get home today. I just can't seem to get enough sleep anymore! :D

I, for one, am a HUGE fan of a nap. I think we would all be more productive at work if there was still nap time with juice and cookies in the afternoon like kindergarten. I know it would do me good.
