I claimed I was going to be all slug like yesterday? *sigh* I lied.

We have a nice king-sized bed. Yesterday I was overcome with the desire to strip it completely down and wash everything, including my curtains. Then I began eyeing the mattress...trying to think of the last time it had been turned. Needless to say, I decide to embark on a 20 minute mattress flipping excursion. Imagine an ant wrestling with a slice of texas toast, and you'll have the general idea. Why I have these spurts of stupid inspiration when Hubby is not home, I have no idea...but it always seems to happen that way. I didn't harm myself, or my dogs in the process, but nearly wiped out my ceiling fan with said mattress. So, not as much a restful day as I had planned.

Today will be errand day, and then working in the yard with Hubby. I guess Slug-dom will have to wait for it's queen for another day. :)

I did look pretty silly in my panic not to kill off my ceiling fan. :) The sacrifices we gals must make to have out lovely beds.

Ok I snorted when I read this...and the image of the ant priceless. You are so crazy.

Why am I not surprised about this? Did you pull anything? Are you sore? Did you get mowed down at any point by momentum or weight of the nice mattress?

Luckily, I escaped relatively unscathed. I did have a moment of being pinned to the wall, but thankfully I was able to break free before any serious damage was done to my fabulous figure. :P

Bwahaa! I almost took out my ceiling fan, and 2 shelves the last time I decided to be an ant. Hee! I'm glad you survived your ordeal, and I hope you get to be a slug this weekend.

Love ya!

Hee! I glad I'm not the only one who does this sort of thing.

I worked my bee-hind off today, so I'm really due for some slug time tomorrow.

Love ya too sweetie!

Now if I had tried to do this it would have been a guarantee I would have had the cats lying on the box spring right as the mattress is ready to come down and squish them.

Hee. My dogs ran for their lives as soon as I started trying to drag the mattress around. They have more sense than I do!
