eyesthatslay: (Strange Anya - by me)

last night and it was so pretty. The snowflakes were falling in huge clumps the size of quarters. Sadly, this morning most of the evidence of our snowstorm had melted away. *pouts* At least I got to watch it for a few hours last nite though.

*hugs* to [livejournal.com profile] amoonchilde for calling me to go squee with me over the snow. It was so much fun to get a chance to talk to you for the second night in a row!

I plan on making chili for dinner today, for my poor hubby. The last couple of days, work for him has sucked beyond belief, so like a good wife, I'm doing what I can with comfort food. I gave him a choice of what he wanted, and chili was his answer without hesitation. :)

What a strange weekend. So much change in the wind with the announcement of the end of AtS. This fandom has been such a big part of my online life, and it makes me wonder how different things will be as it all winds down. It makes me sort of melancholy when I think of it too much.

I feel a little lazy today, and will probably do light housework and watch movies until time to cook. I hope that everyone else has a lovely Sunday before the horror of Monday rears it's ugly head.

You know how mine is going. Missed the snow last night, so I will take your word for it. I am up to my butt in housework and other fun and entertaining things.

I'm sorry your snow went bye bye too soon, but at least you got to enjoy it for a bit. I really enjoyed our talks this weekend, and I'm glad to hear the hubby made it home safe and sound. :)

*hugs*

Ack snow! Keep it by you!

I think a part of fandom will disappear but you'll be surprised at how many people will continue to write and talk about the Jossverse for years to come. Think about Start Trek survived for 20 years and there wasn't even the Internet back then.

We've got 7 years of Buffy and 5 years of ATS. There are so many jumping points off from there. Sides I'd rather read what the fans can put out then Fox publishing. They do a heck of a lot better.

I know you're right about the fandom, luckily I'm feeling more optimistic today. Thanks! :)
