I've been missing you, so here I am. :)

I've gotten tons of house/yard stuff accomplished, but of course there's always more to do. HGTV is a dangerous thing. It keeps giving me ideas, and stuff!!! Hubby and I planted grass (yes, AGAIN), landscaped the baby dog's yard, painted the shutters a nice taupe (they were hunter green), planted azaleas, roses, and laid a flagstone path. Whew! Oh, and I also planted some hollyhock rootings for the first time, and look forward to seeing how those turn out. So far the grass seems to be doing fairly well - we're kind of cursed with grass issues for some reason. (grow dammit!!!)

On the entertainment front - (Warning, Spoilers for 24) & other stuff.

Dollhouse. I'm not in love with it, but the last couple of episodes have finally seemed to peak my interest. My favorite doll so far? Victor. My favorite scene?

Dollhouse staff member: "We're having banana pancakes."

Random Female Doll: "I like pancakes."

Victor: "We're all gonna die."

BWAH!

Fringe. Watched the first returning episode - and enjoyed it OK, missed last night's. Still on the fence.

24. Tony! No, no, no! Jack is so gonna kick your butt. Once he fully recovers from the freaky bio virus thingy, of course, cause he can't die...he's Jack Bauer!!

Lost. Weak recap episode this week. Note to ABC - recap episodes are like tofu to carnivores...non-satisfying.

Castle. Snappy, and fun. Nathan Fillion is truly in his element. Missed this past Monday's ep, but have it recorded.

Supernatural. I have to thank [livejournal.com profile] danaid_luvfor turning me on to this one. *smooches her* Love "teh Winchester boys". Am still catching up on S1 eps, but have caught the last 2 current episodes because I can't resist!

Twilight. Finally watched the movie!!! Must say, there were times that Edward's facial expressions made me laugh, especially when he was trying to be "intense". Still. I love Edward. Bella wasn't irritating at all, and I even liked Charlie in the movie. Alice was adorable as I expected. Movie Jacob was cute, and sweet. I am hoping I won't grow to hate him like I have in the 2nd and 3rd books of the series. I thought the vampire baseball scenes were awesome. The dramatic fight scene near the end was so very cool. The movie was beautifully filmed, and I enjoyed it enough to want to watch it again.

/end entertainment ramblings.

Have also had other RL stuff going on.

- Celebrated my 12 year anniversary with Hubby earler this month. \o/
- Elderly great uncle passed away after a long illness.
- My office assistant gave 2 week notice last week, is taking another job. Now I'll have to find and train another employee.
- Just thinking about going through the process of training someone makes me tired!
- Went house hunting with another friend.
- Went with [livejournal.com profile] angstchicto pick up her new puppy, of the siberian husky persuasion. (OMG so cute!!) Puppy+BFF make for a good day.
- Work getting busier, so had to work some extra hours this week. (wah!)
- Have so far been successful fighting off a sore throat, no doubt brought on by all the freaking pollen we've got!!
- Domestic Goddess duties. They never end do they?
- Oh, and I groomed, then bathed The Baby Dogs tonight, and finished them with a spritz of their doggie cologne, Miss Claybone.

So that's pretty much it. No wonder I'm so tired! :P

I hope everyone's having a good week out there! *hugs flist*
