Junk mail...

*Fights back encroaching waves of junk mail* As I sat here shredding a pile of credit card offers, I began pondering... In my life time, I'll have probably wasted 3 years opening and shredding junk mail. I can feel myself aging with every rip of an envelope!
The only up side is that I really love using my shredder. Kind of like The Mayor said...it just gives me a lift. :P

Shredders are the best. At the psych office I worked at back in Michigan, the therapists used to argue with me about wanting to shred their own documents, merely because they wanted the satisfaction of using the shredder. How great it was to throw it back in their face and say that as the medical records coordinator in the office, it was *my* job. Hee.

Have I mentioned how much I lurve shredders? :D

I think it is the whole destroying clutter forever thing that tickles my fancy with the whole shredding thing. I get the same rush when I throw junk away....the more I declutter, the happier I get.
Some people bungee jump for an adrenaline rush, *shrugs* me...I just shred junk mail, clean, & organize. Same effect, totally free. :P

Well, I have to say that is the rarest of rare occasions. I've only done that once...and oh yeah, I could see how addictive it could be. I'm trying to quit. ;)

Maybe when you come State side, we could open our own Professional Organizer business. :P

True, but it could be worse! I for one would rather have this obesession instead of the handwashing, or the picking at imaginary bugs kind.
Instead of chapped hands, and scabs...we get the end result of neat closets, cabinets, & storage. Go us! :)
