Hello flist! I hope everyone is having a nice evening. :)

Things have been very "run of the mill" around here. Today was mostly a mix of domestic goddess duties....dishes, laundry, etc. and messing around with my LJ layout, yet again. I can be an obsessive tweaker when it comes to my LJ, and my icon site. That would be great if I didn't suck at html, but since I do....it usually equals lots of time playing with code using the universal "trial and error" mode. *sigh* I think I finally like it ok now, but we'll see. Everytime I've changed it lately, the shiny wears off so darn quick. Wah. :P

I recently visited a new stylist, and love the results! I've known her forever, but always had another stylist to go to. Through a course of circumstances I ended up needing a new stylist, and decided to give her a try. She did a great job with my highlights and cut. I've missed my highlights so very much, but I had to give my hair a break from them. I kept the length, but she added tons of layers, and I love how light it is! Wheee! 

The super hot weather has finally left us, thankfully. We're still in the 80's but it sure beats the heck out of upper 90's and low 100's. I've never been so ready for fall as I am this year. Bring on the cool weather and the turning leaves!

I'm planning on working on a set of X-files icons for my next set, since that theme did very well in the poll right after Harry Potter. I loved the X-files back in the day, even though I didn't watch it religiously. I was a complete Mulder/Scully shipper too, oh the tortuous UST that was imposed upon us relentlessly! *swoon* :P I bought my first DVD set, Season 3, a few weeks ago, and I'm thinking of treating myself to a X-files marathon this weekend. Plus, I can justify it as inspiration and research for my icon set, right? :D

I hope everyone has a wonderful Labor Day weekend! That extra day off, can only be a good thing in my book! *hugs and loves flist*

It's great to see a post from you! Any pix of the new do? I just got mine cut and colored also...love it, but I still can't style it like Kimberly does...frustrating, it is, but it's still quite an improvement, since the color had faded so badly and I was in need of a cut/trim for the past 2 weeks.

I know what you mean about styling it like the salon, they always seem to do such a good job, and sometimes it's hard to do just as well on your own. I bet your hair is so cute!

Yes! My hair is so thick that putting it into a ponytail gives me a headache sometimes. Now I can put it up with no worries! :D
