Today's the day to get that holiday shopping done. The hardest thing for me with holiday shopping is to:

a) Shop for others instead of myself. I always seem to see *just* the shoes/sweater/jeans/knick-knack/etc. for me!

b) Not buy gratuitous food gift-baskets. They make them look soooo good, and I always want them all...once again, usually for me.

c) Not throw angstchic off a mall balcony for fun.

d) Not chew gum while shopping, as I always end up chomping it like a rabid cow.

e) Not be dazzled blind by all the beautiful Christmas foo-foo, music, and evil shiny electronics. 'Cause they produce this hypnotic state that usually makes me buy stuff....for me.

Have fun today! I totally agree with a, b, d and e, but I wouldn't even think of throwing angstchic off a mall balcony, because I'm nice like that. ; )

I did resist the shoes last weekend when I was with the hubby, but I was panting...it wasn't pretty, and he had to lead me out by my arm.

You'll be glad to know that I controlled myself and angstchic's feet never left the floor. :)

I wasn't as sucessful in not shopping for myself however. I bought clothes, and home decor mostly for myself. No shoes though! So that should count for something! :)
