My Goings On...

I made a donation to the Humane Society's Disaster Relief Fund yesterday morning. They are helping to rescue abandoned pets, and assisting pet owners as well. Click the banner below, if you are interesting in donating to their cause.

                        

I ended up ordering my Firefly DVDs too, so hopefully in a few days I'll be basking in the joy of episodes galore! I ended up snagging some gorgeous FF icons from autumnjoy's icon journal. *points at icon* See how pretty! She has got some amazing stuff! I can't wait to get my DVDs so I can make screencaps and icons for FF too. *squee*

I went to angstchic's yesterday, and we even got a chance to have a phone call with rikki_oko. As usual we laughed, snorted, and generally behaved like we didn't have sense. Good times. ;) We also had a blast from the past,courtesy of a weird conversation with her co-workers. The band Black Oak Arkansas came back to haunt us yet again. See this previous entry, to enjoy our first experience with this, ah, unique tribute to musical history. :P

Today I worked on some graphics, watched Vanity Fair (which was wonderful, and beautifully filmed) and finally relaxed for what seems like the first time in weeks. Tonight I plan on vegging out with the hubby and baby dogs, and watching some movies.
