because I doctored my cold with children's Triaminic. Why does a full grown woman take children's cough syrup you ask? Because it doesn't taste quite as nasty as the adult stuff. Adult cough syrup causes me to make funny faces, gag, and want to scrape my tongue off with a filet knife. Somehow, I'm never in the mood for this comic routine while miserable with a cold. Another burning question I have...Why is it that prescription cough medicines (the really strong stuff) tastes so good, and all the over the counter stuff tastes terrible? It's just not fair, darnitall.
At least I got a good night's sleep sponsered by children's Grapity-grape Nite Time Triaminic. It is so grapey, in fact, that as soon as I opened the bottle, my husband who was at least 10 ft away from me, said: "That smells really grapey." Tricksey Triaminic, it smelled good allright. All sweet and grapey-fied, but it still tasted kinda yucky. Poor little kids....poor little me.
I got to talk to [livejournal.com profile] angstchic last night, and that was great! I think we ended up talking 4 1/2 hours or something like that. Help! I'm on the phone, and I can't shut up! :P

She brought me a cake! Wheeee! There was a slight trade off however. I had to pet the tiny alpaca that [livejournal.com profile] just_kumi sent her. I had no choice but to comply to gain possession of said cake. It was kind of cute, but I still dangled it from it's little harness, and made the appropriate choking alpaca noises. Heh. Still got the cake, go me!
