I'm Not Ready For Monday...

This weekend has just blown by. I keep wondering when things will return to a normal pace around here. I spent the day with my Mom Friday, and we had much fun. We both did some shopping, and enjoyed sushi for lunch. Yum.

Yesterday consisted mostly of domestic goddess duties, and watching my Revenge of the Sith DVD.

I don't know how everyone else feels about this movie, but I was rooting non-stop for Anakin to NOT go to the dark side. Even though I knew it was inevitable, I didn't want him to get all disfigured and slapped into the iron lung. It hurt me all over. *pets pre-fried Anakin* Wah.

I kept telling him to take a hard look at Palpatine after he zapped poor Mace Windu. Cause he became that special kind of ugly thanks to the dark side. That should have been a big honkin' red flag, ya know? Dark side = Ugly. I kept hoping Anakin would say, "Um, Chancellor...that whole dark side thing we talked about? I think I'm gonna have to pass...cause Padme' eyesthatslay likes me pretty, see?" :P

Yeah, see me have deep thoughts about Star Wars III. :P

Today was pretty uneventful. Did church this morning, and had lunch with the hubby before he headed for the deer woods. Then went to visit a friend of mine that has 5 adorable dogs. I had a lot of fun chatting with her, and playing with all the baby dogs.

Tonight I'm going to kick back and relax. Veg with the TV, and piddle around on the internet. It may not make Monday any easier to face...but at least it will give me a little "me" time before the morn.

I really need to be packing boxes. I had a chat with Rikki-poo and told her about the icons. She was all "Squeeee". Well, more "Ow, ow. Squeee! Ow" from the contractions and backpain, but you know....

She'd probably like that. She's all "4 days and counting!". She just wants to be done with it at the mo'. All in all she's good. And you'd be proud with her 'setting limits' bit. She's doing much better.

Yeah, but why you gotta say that like it's a bad thing? Exercise is exercise, right?
