No, no, no...not a human kid. Not Mary Kay Letourneau here. A baby pygmy goat. Smooched it shamelessly on it's little furry head. Squeeee! OMGosh, it was the cutest thing eva! She probably stood about 10 inches tall, and only weighed about 8 or 9 lbs. *smooch* She was black and white, and her brother was buff colored. (Yeah, he got smooched too...what of it?) I was also nuzzled, sniffed, hugged and stood!on! by their goat aunt. Hee. Can I also add that goats do not smell funny. So that whole insult thing "You smell like a goat!" nothing backing that up at all. See me be all informed.

The goat thing was kind of a bribe from the hubby. He loves for me to go deer hunting with him, and I'm not so much about it. He casually mentioned that his cousin who lives near where he hunts had tiny baby goats, and that petting and snuggling of said baby goats could be involved if I chose to go with. My defenses buckled readily. I'm apparently not above being bribed, but hey! goats! I'll take the moral high road later. :P

Also, I'm up so early this morning. I'm weird like that. I think that shopping should be in my future today. I have this urge to browse, and lolly gag.

Oh my god! Goats! I envy you and your new goat relationships. A friend of mine had two goats in high school, but then he moved and took the goats with him and it was sad cause I just really like goats... and ducks... and elephants. But especially goats.

I'm a pervy goat smoocher!! I couldn't resist them, they were so darn cute. :)

Ducks and elephants? That is an interesting combination! I think it would be neat to pet an elephant!

They were so cute! You should have seen them pawing at the straw with their hooves to make a bed. Hee!

Yeah, I was being sneaky with the subject line. ;)

See now, even cute baby goats wouldn't get me within 10 miles of dead deer. Especially if they were live deer just before I got there. I'm glad you got to have fun with the goats, though.

No dead deer where present this hunting trip so it was all good. I don't like seeing them either! We did see some live and still living deer as we were leaving though. :)

So that made the baby goats even more worth the trip!

I totally agree that piglets are high in the cuteness category too. :)

Or it could just be baby animals in general, since I had the same reaction to a puppy someone had at a cattle show I went to last Saturday. Long story, that. But the puppy was adorable. :D

Right there with you on the baby animal lurve. A lady brought a tiny Chihuahua puppy to our yard sale, and I kissed it's little head too. If baby animals are around, I'm all about the smoochies. :D

It was so much fun, other than the Auntie goat trying to act out my Captain Kirk dream! *snort*

Silly roof inspecting goat! :P

I love barnyard animals. I live in a very rural part of southern New Jersey and find myself pulling the car over a lot to get out and entice animals to the fence so that I can pet them. :-)

I love any kind of animals. :) I tried to pet some cows yesterday too, but they wouldn't walk over to the fence. :)

Can I also add that goats do not smell funny. Sometimes they so, especially the males. But so do human beings, especially the males! Tee hee.

Really? These didn't at all. So glad I got the non-stinky variety in my experience. :D

Hee!

Yes, they were ever so cute! :)
