Naps are my friend...

Why is it Columbus day has a way of sneaking up on those of us who attempt to mail things, and expected to partake of the joys of banking, only to discover that "official" stuff is closed. *sigh*

I was able to squeeze in a nap this afternoon, and am I glad I did. I'm going out to eat with my hubby tonite, and I will enjoy it more now that I'm not feeling worn to a frazzle. Nap and free food...this day is getting better and better!

Even when you weren't working last Wed. nite, you were talking to 2 deranged people on the phone, and you called us. LOL! It must be your lot in life!

Yes, I see that you have been well versed on my summer of shad trauma... I just figured, hey a few drops of bleach will kill the algae, but won't hurt the fish...WRONG! After the great shad massacre. I went and bought goldfish, then splurged on some "official" store-bought algae treatment. Happily the goldfish survived to be released into the wild before the beginning of winter. This summer I said screw the fish, and bought a spitting turtle statue...It is impervious to bleach, so I can Clorox to my hearts content.

Heehee!I think the spitting turtle was a great idea, and I'm sure the local shad community thanks you as well! Clorox can be your friend, as long as you don't have gills. *snort*

I was all desperate to find a flat rock to set my spitting turtle on....and I was so happy when I found it. :)
