All Work...

and no play makes eyesthatslay a very cranky girl. Grrrr. I feel like I've been on a roller coaster ride at work the last few days. People! They keep calling and wanting stuff! The nerve. :P

I've also decided to spend my evenings at home stressing myself out by playing chess on my computer. Let's make something very clear. I should have stuck with Scrabble. I totally suck at chess. The key (I hear) is to think several moves ahead. Pul-eeze. I'm doing good to think about the move at hand. The sneaky computer is so good at setting up the board in anticipation of moves I *might* make. Waaah. So a night of relaxing over a chess board? Not so much. It's more a night of foul language, and clicking the piss out of the "undo last move" button - yet *still* losing. *sigh*

Tomorrow promises to be fun, however. I'm planning on spending the afternoon shopping with my Mom after having lunch at our favorite sushi restaurant. Yum. I'm all about sashimi! Then I have an appointment at the salon to touch up my highlights, and to get a cut. I'm thinking of getting at least 3 inches taken off. Long hair can be such a pain, and I've taken to wearing it in a ponytail more than I wear it down. So it must be time for a change.

Well, I'm off to catch up on my flist, and then I'm sure I'll immerse myself in yet another chess battle. Oh. joy. ;)

I'm thinking of getting at least 3 inches taken off. Long hair can be such a pain, and I've taken to wearing it in a ponytail more than I wear it down. So it must be time for a change.

I've been doing the samething too. Although for me I thinks it's becuase it's so hot lately, maybe cooler weather and you'll want to wear it down?

I know that I'm wearing it in a ponytail for two reasons:

a) It was so long that it is getting to be a major pain to straighten or blowdry into a style

b) It is really hot here, and long hair only makes it worse. (plus I'm notoriously hot natured)

I bit the bullet and had 6-7 inches chopped off! Yay!

One of my adolescent patients taught me to play chess...gah! That boy could see patterns like the snap of your fingers!!!! He beat me everytime we played but once!!! :o) I'll never forget the experience...so frustrating to learn! Played my dad later...he kicked my butt...lol.

Maybe you could give me some pointers...

Mmmmm...have a couple pieces of maguro and uni for me. Hope all goes well with the haircut. I'm going to get a cut too as soon as my bridesmaid gig is over. Have a happy Friday!

MMmmmm! I had maguro and toro today! Those are my two favorites. I also tried a couple of new rolls which were delicious.

The hair cut went great, thanks. :D Much shorter, cuter, and bouncier now. Wheee!

Mmmmmmmm....I love toro too! Ever have o-toro? I had it once. It's the creme de la creme of toro. It's not always in season. It was sooo very good. Expensive, but worth it.

Also, your new 'do sounds really cute!
