A Full Day...
Jul. 9th, 2004 11:25 pmof running errands, and getting my household shopping done...including groceries. Yay for having food in the house.
Plus, I got a quick phone call with
angstchic this morning, and a surprise phone call from
amoonchilde too! Wheee! I never get tired to talking to them, and we never run out of stuff to say. It boggles my husband's mind how we can have these 2-3 hour phone conversations all the time. :)
I also found out that I won second place at
i_contest! In the black & white challenge. Woo Hoo!
I finally got to sit down and watch Secret Window with the hubby last night. I liked it, and I think that Johnny Depp did a great job with the role, as always.
I really didn't realize that Mort was going completely insane until they started revealing it all. I did figure out ahead of time that Shooter really meant Shoot Her. I thought that Johnny Depp did a wonderful job acting out all the different facets of his mental demise. I also have to admit that I kind of liked it when Ted got hit with the shovel. He was such a jerk. I have the book, and I plan on reading it to see how it compares against the movie. (kind of backwards I know)
I liked it, and I would probably watch it again - so I'm glad I bought the DVD.

It was really just suspenseful. It's rated PG-13, so that kept the gore down to mostly imagination. You see violence, but not so much the results.

Date: 2004-07-10 08:04 pm (UTC)I had a lovely time talking with you lastnight, and I think it's great we have so much to talk about no matter how many times we call. Most of the time the hanging up part is because it's so late. Hee!
*hugs*
