In the midst of the drugery of laundry, I am entertaining myself by making LJ icons, and having quite a lot of fun with it. It isn't everyday that you can have a stroke of sheer genius. :)

amoonchilde...I'm so glad that you asked! *takes deep breath* I think they are evil because they are a threat to the world economy as we know it. (This was discussed at some length on the SAC thread)You see...I see alpaca advertisments all the time..."Alpaca Farming...a great lifestyle!! Alpacas sweet gentle creatures...etc." Notice however that they never really go into what do you actually do with all those alpacas once you are raising them. Personally, I think it is along the lines of the big Emu farce of the late 80's...."buy Emu's they're great! I knew of a person that was roped into all that and they *still* can't get rid of them to this day!! angstchic (who also is probably also gullible enough to by Ronco Hair In A Can) was lulled in by their cute, fuzzy, televised lips, yet I remain unmoved by the evil alpaca propaganda. eurydice72 is only trying to defend them because she purchased a bonafide alpaca fur rug just because she thinks it is soft, which in a way only furthers my cause since now we have one less alpaca so she can have her rug. :) *thus endth the alpaca rant* LOL! :D
Don't forget about what they were good for back in the days of the Aztecs or Mayans or ... whatever they were. That is your fa-a-a-vor-ite part. You want to bring back the tradition cuz you are hatin' on the Alpaca community.
Oh, yes! I forgot to mention this part...thanks for reminding me

Oh, yes! I forgot to mention this part...thanks for reminding me <lj=user"angstchic"lj>. I did some research and apparently some ancient cultures often took alpacas to sacrifice atop the mountains....which only proves my theory that even back then hapless alpaca farmers were trying to thin the herds. The age old way of good riddance....two go out, and one comes back...
So, let me see if I understand correctly... angstchic was lured by their cute, fuzzy, televised lips that were sprayed on with Ronco Hair in a Can. BWHAHAHAHA!!!!
She was trying to explain this to me after I made the ever-so-innocent remark about "OMYGOD! They are so cuuuuute!" or something along those lines. I had the sound down because we were on the phone (per one of our 3 hour conversations) and thus it began. Somewhere in the midst of conversation, we validated our geek-hood when she asked "Do you remember that old Star Trek episode?" and I said "The Trouble with Tribbles?". It's been my sad haunting legacy ever since.
Yes - he caught the bad spy-type person, saved a planet and it's economy and found the tribbles homes, albeit as a form of punishment for the unwashed trader dude. Truly an inspiration. You might wanna look into it and take notes. ;P
He was also up to his ass in tribbles as you recall, before he pawned them off to save the day...that is the material point...yes, it all turned around for him once. the. tribbles. left. ;)
