Heee! I love #2 but I think 17 is my favorite. I'm obsessed with those little things. Had a boyfriend back in high school who bought my 12 boxes of the 16 count. My mother was pissed at him for weeks afterward.

You're not lame. I'll be glad to tell you how to do it.

Even though you only have room for three you can download icons you like and save them on your computer, and then swap out the 3 slots you have with different ones.

Ok, here is how you download icons from posts.

1. Put your mouse arrow over the icon you want, and right click.

2. A pop up menu will appear. Select "Save Picture As", name it, and save it to your computer.

You may want to create a folder on your computer just for saving your icons in, so that you can easily find them to upload them into your user pics. It's that easy. :) Let me know if you have any questions.

Oh, I forgot to add...when you save icons onto a folder on your computer, you may want to label the folder with the name of the icon maker (and keep icons you save organized by maker). That way you will know who you snagged them from, and can give credit to them, in your keywords. Most icon makers appreciate credit for their work.

One day, you need to bite the bullet, and try out a paid account, and be able to have 15 user pics. What is sad is I have 50, and could gladly use more!

I have notice that some users have more than 15 with their paid accounts...how is that? I might buy an acount but I am being cheap right now=)

You can buy extra user pics for very little money once you get a paid account. Even the paid accounts are very inexpensive...$5.00 for 2 months, for example. You can always refer back to the FAQ section to refresh your memory if you choose to take the plunge. :) Personally, it is well worth it to me...$2.50 a month is not something that I even miss.

I love 2, LOL and 4 is really nice! Question: How do you get your pictures so sharp? Any icons I make end up very fuzzy.

How do you get your pictures so sharp?
Hear my voice of ionic wisdom, lol. ;)

1. I try to always start out with a good quality image, the higher the resolution, and clearer the better.

2. I use only pictures that are at least 100x100 pixels to start with. Stretching a small picture to enlarge it always degrades the quality.

3. I tweak the contrast/brightness levels to get the truest color.

4. I use a "despeckle" filter to smooth out any graininess in the image.

5. Select the "anti-aliased" option for your icon text. This smooths the edges of your fonts, and prevents a jagged, pixelated look.
