Episode Night...

was great as usual! angstchic and I decided to have pizza for dinner, and then she was sweet enough to bake brownies too! I'm such a dork, I even licked the bowl. Then we had a fun chat with amoonchilde before the episode, had lots of laughs with her...we barely got off the phone in time for the episode we were having such fun! Lurve you sweetie! *hugs*


This was such an amazing episode to me. First off Andrew was absolutely adorable! I just lurve him! He had me laughing the entire time. I especially loved his emotional LotR nerd moment when he first saw, and latched onto Spike. "He's alive, Frodo!" Bwahaha! His british flag sack lunch got me too. Then commenting on Spike's "Viggo Mortensen pectorals" Hee!
The insane slayer was scary, but cool too. I'm unspoiled save the promos at the end of the eps, and at first I thought that Spike was hallucinating that his hands were cut off. Then I realized that they really were cut off, and I was all traumatized! ACK! I'm glad that they were able to reattach them.
I loved having BtVS canon coming into this episode. It made me all kinds of happy. I've been hoping that the activation of all potentials in Buffy's last ep would be touched on in Angel, and I got my wish.
I loved it when Andrew punked Angel down at the end! (yeah, I know that a small army of slayers had his back, but still) I'm sure that was a bitter pill for brow boy to swallow. Heh. I also got a perverted sense of joy that Andrew said that Buffy and Scoobs no longer trust Angel now that they work for Wolfram & Hart.
I also enjoyed the talk that Angel and Spike shared in the hospital room. I think there is a glimmer of grudging respect being formed between them, and that is nice to see.
The writers did a great job this episode in my opinion. I hope that things continue to be as interesting the rest of the season.

Lastnight was a blast as usual, and the episode was fantastic, but we just got finished talking all about that on the phone, didn't we? Hee! Thanks for calling me, it was great laughing with you after my day from the hellmouth. You made my day! :)
