Your turkey tale reminded me of something my neighbor told me the other day. A few Thanksgivings ago she made a flourless chocolate cake which evidently had a number of complex steps. She didn't have anywhere to put the finished cake and since it was quite chilly outside she put it on a table on her patio. When she went to get the cake she found a squirrel in the middle of it, eating the whole thing.
