Merry Christmas!

So far it has been a really great day here. I had a nice evening last night, and the food that hubby brought home was wonderful. We had ham, deep fried turkey, fried chicken, green bean casserole, corn, creamed potatoes, broccoli casserole, olives, rolls, deviled eggs, homemade strawberry ice cream, strawberry shortcake, & cheese cake. That is just what he brought home! He said there were several more dishes at the party!

This morning I got up and put treats in my doggies stockings, and they got so impatient it was hilarious! My smallest one went and laid down on the hearth to be near her stocking. Hee! I got some wonderful gifts from my hubby, and my doggies. Cash, Target Gift Card, gift certificate to my favorite sushi restaurant, and all sorts of candy & goodies. Now I'm ready to go shopping and have lunch. :)

We are planning to go and exchange gifts with his parents tonight, so I have that to look forward too.

I took a nap this afternoon, and am feeling much better. I have to be healthy enough to go shopping soon! I have my eye on a laptop that I plan on using my Christmas money to help buy. Plus, I want hubby to take me to go see RotK as soon as possible. Hopefully, some time next week.

OMG! The food was so good! The turkey, and cheesecake were to die for, let me tell you. Luckily, we have leftovers. Squee!

Yes, I do have to work tomorrow from 8am-4pm, luckily they were nice enough not to make us work the 1 hour overtime until 5pm. Then I will be off until Tuesday, so it's really not too bad.

Aw! I thought for sure you'd have figured a way to be off for those after Christmas sales! :) I know you're my kindred spirit of shopping.

I would love to go tomorrow and do some browsing, but I'll just have to see how I feel. I don't want to push my luck too soon. If I can't get out tomorrow, I can always head out on Monday.
