I've been home sick the past couple of days with a almost sinus or cold thing that had me running a low fever. I never really had any other symptoms, except for feeling generally tired and blah. I'm feeling better today, and my temp is back to normal so far. Hopefully, my immune system fought it off before it really got me. So, yay for that.
I've been making icons like a crazy person! What's up with that? *blinks* I'm really setting myself up for a lot of updating later at Captured Memories. I've not archived any of my icons there since June. I'm DOOOOMED, DOOMed, doomed. *facepalm*
I've got one more set of icons that are on my immediate to-do-list.
Happy Bunny. Yep, and you can thank
musing_mia, and
angstchicboth for inspiring that little gem of an idea. ;) Mia gave us these cute Happy Bunny magnets at Dragon*Con. It's kind of like a "mood theme" with a big sheet magnet of various HB squares and sentiments, and theres a movable pink magnet "frame" that you can use to indicate which HB you most feel like at the moment.
angstchicand I both took them to our work, and she was telling me how everyone at her office likes to move her frame around and change her Happy Bunny mood for her. I don't have that problem, see. I found the one mood that pretty much suits me 99% of the time. It's called: "I'm cute, lets put me in charge!" Then I took some really strong clear tape and affixed my pink frame permanently to showcase that Happy Bunny. So people can
try to mess with my choice of
Happy Bunny, but they aren't going to get anywhere with it. Heh. This amused
angstchicto no end, and she said something along the lines of how that was "so like me." What ever could she mean? :P
Plus, I think it's really funny how she's planning on donning some fluffy bunny ears, and going to the office as the Happy Bunny personified. She totally has the cheerful rude comments thing going too, so that part of her "costume" won't be a problem. At all. Nope. :P
I've not yet watched
Chuck 1.4, but the title makes me giggle.
Chuck vs. The Wookie. Hee. I've got it recorded, so I'll most likely try sit down with it tomorrow. Tonight I'm going to try watching
Pushing Daisies, as I've heard good things about it, and then the
Bionic Woman since I'm hoping to warm up to it more.
We had some pretty intense weather here, with storm rotations (eep!), high winds, flooding, and all that fun stuff. Luckily, it blew over quickly and there wasn't any damage. The weather guy was saying the the rotations indicated possible tornado activity, so I had a classic Whiskey!Tango!Foxtrot! moment and ran around the house in panicked circles for about 10 minutes. The baby dogs were very supportive of all this random movement (i.e. they ran everywhere with me), but I could tell they were wondering what the frilly heck I was doing. Hee. One of the things that kills me is how they tell you to lay in a ditch if you don't have a shelter. o_O Uh...all the ditches were
rushing with water from the pouring down rain. Like baby white water rapids. How the heck do you lay in a ditch like that without drowning? Have they thought this through? I think not. So I'd be one of those mattress over the bathtub types. Me and my baby dogs hanging out in the bathtub. Look at us go. ;)
Ok, looks like
Pushing Daisies is about to start, so I'm going to go and partake.
Have a good evening, flist. *hugs*
