Let's see, where to start.

Ok, for those of you who were wondering about the aftermath of the fire... The insurance company did pay up, but unfortunately it was only about 1/2 of what it will cost to replace everything. *sigh* At least it will be enough to replace the absolutely necessary equipment, and we are hoping that another policy will cover replacing the building itself. We have already purchased much of what we needed immediately, so the contracts we had agreed too, won't be a problem to meet.

[livejournal.com profile] angstchic and I had a lovely Saturday outing. We managed to get much of her shopping done, and had lunch at a wonderful Italian restaurant. We even split a dessert, which was a nice treat. We both have been so busy and stressed, it was high time we had some girl time. It's like therapy.

I also finally got to catch up with another one of my favorite heifers, [livejournal.com profile] amoonchilde yesterday. We ended up talking on the phone for almost 3 hours, and it was so much fun! It's so good to have you back around, hon! I've missed you bunches!

Today I hired a new girl to help me at work. I'm hoping, and praying that she will work out. I only work part time, but the 10 hour days, and the possiblity of having to go to 40 hours a week was not doing much for my mood. It will be nice to get back to my usual schedule, and not have to worry about whether everything is getting done.

Other than that I've been pretty exhausted, and not feeling my best. I haven't been sleeping very well, and have felt headachey and nauseous lately. Bleck. I'm hoping that whatever the problem is it will pass. I'm not a happy camper when I don't feel good.

I'm going to hit the sack early tonight, so that I can be ready to train my new employee in the morning. Wish me luck!
