Doing Better.
Feb. 2nd, 2005 07:12 pmI'm so happy to report that I am feeling better! I slept another 13 or so hours last night, but after I was up for a few hours I could tell a definite improvement. I can once again smell and taste food, and my head is much less congested. I'm still coughing pretty badly whenever my meds wear off, but it isn't painful like it was.
I so appreciate all of those on my f-list who have taken the time to pop in and wish me well. You've all cheered me up so much, and made being stuck at home so much more fun. I lurve you gals! I'd probably be mad with cabin fever by now if not for my laptop, and my "conversations" with all of you. :)
Thanks also to
angstchic who has been so sweet about calling to check on me, and seeing if I need anything. My husband has been a doll too, helping with the housework, and making sure that I'm fed and well stocked up on tissues, movies, etc. Plus, my baby dogs have rarely left my side. So all in all, I'm a lucky sick gal. ;)
I did a little shopping on the internet today, and folded some laundry. (don't worry, I'm pacing myself) I really want to take down all my snowman decor, but I will have to have the hubby's help since that will involve getting storage totes from our outbuilding. It's driving me nuts that I've still got my snowman flags up outside, and it's February now. :P I ordered some cute "country angel with hearts" flags, and expect the last one that was back ordered to be here in the next couple of days.
I'm so ready to be back to normal. I've always been the impatient sort. :)
Hubby was secretive about where he was going to get our dinner, so I'm looking forward to seeing what he comes home with. I think it is cute that he likes to surprise me.
Well, I'm off to browse around and see what's been going on with everyone else. *hugs*
Nicked from everyone, everywhere...
*sigh* If only I had slayer strength, & healing. :P

![]() | You scored as Buffy Summers. You are a very strong individual. You do, however, have some trouble admitting how you truely feel. You've experienced a lot during your life, but you more than manage. Always willing to help, you're a great friend.

He did! One of my favorites. An amazing grilled chicken chef salad from one of our fave restaurants. Couldn't eat it all, but it was so yummy. :)

Oh, I'm sorry, I should have emailed you! :( Right now it is a wait and see situation. Which is better than it was 24 hours ago. They were planning on removing him from life support, but now the Doctors want to give him more time to see if he can pull out of it. So please keep the prayers coming. *hugs*
