Layout Fun!

Yesterday, after church, I spent most of the afternoon piddling around on the internet. Then I ended up chatting with angstchic on the phone, and decided that it was time for me to change rikki_oko's LJ layout to surprise her. She hasn't seen it yet, but I hope she likes it when she discovers it. :) I also ended up working up a new background for angstchic's LJ last night, and she is planning on getting it set up this evening.

I'm planning on working on a surprise background for amoonchilde tonight too, if I have time. It's been quite I while since I made one for her.

I'm going to try like heck to get a batch of BtVS Valentine themed, and general Valentine themed icons made, and posted this week. So keep an eye peeled. :) I'll cross post the BtVS Valentine icons in the usual fandom icon communities, but the general Valentine icons will only be posted at my LJ and iconaddicts.

Before you can have a custom background to a LJ layout you have to have 2 things.

1. a paid LJ account (free accounts don't allow background customization options)

2. your own webspace to upload the background, that allows "remote linking"

If you have these two things, I don't mind making a Spuffy background for you. Just let me know. :)

I had a journal before that was a free account and I was still able to have a background. Someone did all the HTML and stuff for me. I'm pretty sure free accounts can have backgrounds, but paid accounts obviously can have better ones. And yea I have Photobucket.

The layouts I'm doing are presets that are available to paid accounts. I don't do HTML, so if you find out that you have a background image option available in one of your free account preset styles, or have someone that can set up the HTML, then I can make a background and email it to you.
