Whew!

I've had a full day around here. I decided to take down my christmas decorations this morning. Then I took care of all the basic domestic goddess duties, laundry, vacuumed, dishes, dusting, etc. I even cooked a pot roast for dinner.

In the midst of all of this I worked in watching the special features of my ROTK extended version DVDs that I got for christmas. I've really enjoyed watching the missing scenes, and I'm hoping that I'll be able to watch the entire movie with the commentary feature on tomorrow. I just lurve these films!

I was thinking about renting the ROTK DVD just to be able to see the extended version. Do you really think it added more to the telling? I heard it was nearly 45 minutes longer with it.

I really enjoyed seeing the extra scenes, and to me it seemed to add more detail to story. According to my DVDs it has 50 minutes of extra footage.

I watched the extended version of ROTK today too, as well as Two Towers. I thought they were brilliant, myself. One of these days I'll watch them with commentary.

I love watching them with the cast commentary. They say some of the neatest, and funniest things. I've seen all three with commentary now. :)

Maybe next time that I have 12 hours to kill, I'll watch the movies with commentary. My folks got me all three extended versions for Christmas, and I hadn't seen any of the cut scenes before.

I rented the extended version of ROTK yesterday and watched it last night. I didn't get around to the commentary, but I really enjoyed the additional scenes. Of course, today I took my son to see The Spongebob Squarepants Movie. Not nearly as entertaining as ROTK. ::sigh:: Oh well, it only cost $5 for the both of us.

I've been doing the domestic goddess thing for the past few days. It's nice to have a tidy house, but very tiring.

I can't even relax unless my house is fairly clutter-free, and even then I seem to find the strangest projects to keep me busy. ;)

Glad you are enjoying1 Oh, it's been an LoTR fest at my apartment, as BoyRoomie bought GirlRoomie he boxset for Xmas. All Lotr all the time...makes me a bit happy I ain't there ;)
